Quins snap up Skinner
Harlequins have added Will Skinner to their lengthy list of summer acquisitions.
Harlequins have continued their mass summer recruitment drive with the addition of Leicester Tigers flanker Will Skinner.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season at Welford Road, vying with the likes of Lewis Moody and Luke Abraham for a place in the starting line-up, as the Tigers once again booked their place in the Premiership play-offs.
However, Skinner will now ply his trade at the Stoop when the 2006/07 campaign kicks off, after agreeing a one-year deal with the Premiership newboys.
The move will see the England Under-21 link up with coach Dean Richards for the second time in his career, and the Tigers legend admits he is looking forward to their reunion.
"It will be good to get the chance to work with Will again," Richards told the official Harlequins website.
"He is a very talented young player with a big future in the game and will considerably strengthen our back row resources.
"He is a very competitive individual, who will push the likes of Andre Vos and Paul Volley hard for a place in the team."
Skinner is the latest in a long line of impressive additions to the Quins squad, including international centres Stuart Abbott and Hal Luscombe.
