Bristol full-back Sean Marsden has signed for Glasgow Warriors on a two-year deal.

Bristol full-back Sean Marsden has signed for Glasgow Warriors on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old, who was born in Stirling, explained that he is looking for a new test having had two spells with the West Country outfit.

"I've lived in Bristol for a long time now and felt it was time for a fresh challenge," said Marsden, who scored 21 tries in the 2004-05 season.

"Having spoken with (coach) Sean Lineen and, after having chat with the other Glasgow staff, I felt that the club have some really exciting times ahead and Sean has some great ideas for the future and that is something that I want to be part of."

The Warriors, meanwhile, face Connacht in the Celtic League on Friday and have Colin Shaw missing with a hamstring injury as they go in search of a Heineken Cup place.
