Delasau leaves Otago

Otago winger Vilimoni Delasau has signed for French club Clermont.

Fijian winger Vilimoni Delasau has signed for French side Clermont from Super 14 franchise Otago Highlanders.

Delasau has won 21 caps for Fiji and was part of the side that won the World Cup Sevens in 2005.

But the 28-year-old was banned from playing for his country for 12 months after testing positive for cannabis last September.

Delasau's Fijian compatriots Rupeni Caucaunibuca and Sireli Bobo both also play their club rugby in France.
