Brew is Bristol's cup of tea
Bristol have secured the services of Neil Brew for the second half of the season.
Bristol have secured a high class reinforcement for their backline ahead of the new Guinness Premiership campaign.
New Zealand Maori centre Neil Brew has agreed on a two-and-a-half year deal with the club, and he will arrive in time to bolster the West Countrymen in the second half of the season.
Currently under contract with the Otago Highlanders, Brew brings plenty of creativity and experience, and he is due at the Memorial Ground after the New Year.
Coach Richard Hill is clearly excited by the new arrival, as Bristol look to add an extra dimension to their attack.
"He had an outstanding Super 14 where he consistently broke the advantage line and was always a threat with ball in hand. He will add real class and firepower to our back line," enthused the Bristol boss.
"Neil also has strong leadership skills having captained Otago in their recent Air New Zealand Cup win over Northland.
"Like David Hill, he is only 27 years of age; he is at his prime and will be integral to the continued development of Bristol Rugby."
