Fracture sidelines Sigley

Gloucester's Terry Sigley has been sidelined for up to two months with a broken arm.

Gloucester prop Terry Sigley has been sidelined for up to two months after he broke his arm on Saturday.

Sigley is currently on loan at Pertemps Bees, and disaster struck in their recent National League Division One clash with Leeds Tykes.

The 28-year-old suffered a small fracture to his right arm, meaning a one month spell in plaster.

Sigley's setback is similar to that suffered by second-row forward Alex Brown, although he is expected to recover sooner than the England man.

"We have suffered a few injuries in recent weeks and Terry is the latest one but his break is not as serious as first thought," revealed head coach Dean Ryan.

"He will spend a few weeks in plaster and we will obviously monitor his progress.

"It is exceptionally bad luck because he had been playing well for Pertemps but we hope to see him back in action before too long."
