Cannon out for Aussies
Hooker Brendan Cannon has been ruled out of Australia's clash with Ireland.
Australia coach John Connolly has been forced to change his plans for Sunday's Test against Ireland after hooker Brendan Cannon was ruled out with a neck injury.33-year-old Cannon had been struggling with a neck problem and the Western Force man has failed to come through medical exams forcing him out of the Lansdowne Road clash.
The 42-capped Cannon played in the 2003 World Cup final and his experience will be a big loss for the Wallabies as they face Six Nations Triple Crown winners Ireland.
Tai McIsaac, who has played seven times for the Wallabies, will replace Cannon as hooker against the Irish on Sunday.
"He won't play. It is a bit of both things really, form and fitness," said Connolly.
"We just don't think he's a 100 percent.
"Tai McIsaac will come in to the starting line-up while Stephen Moore will be on the replacements bench.
"There will not be a problem to our system."
Australia will be looking for a good performance after two disappointments so far on their European tour, while the Irish are in great spirits after a fine victory over South Africa last time out.
