Corry seeks cutting edge

Martin Corry insists Leicester Tigers must be more clinical in their performance against Bourgoin at Welford Road on Saturday. The Tigers claimed a valuable 28-13 victory in wet and heavy conditions in France on Friday night to keep up the pressure on Munster at the top of Pool Four.
But with a place in the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup at stake, the midlands club's captain was disappointed not to have closed the four-point gap at the top still further.
"We can't afford any defeats and we can't afford any slip-ups," Corry explained.
"The game in Bourgoin had an element of a slip-up because we scored three tries in the first half and then did not get the bonus point.
"Bourgoin have their backs to the wall in this competition and they have to come out and give it their absolute all. We are going to be very careful of that and we need to make sure our defence is lively and that we put in a strong display in key areas."
But with some key men now returning into contention for a place in the team, Corry has remained upbeat about the strength of the Tigers squad for the future.
"I think we have got a fantastic squad and I believe we showed that during the autumn internationals when we were missing several players," he added.
"It's very competitive and it'll be great to have Julian White and Ben Kay available for selection again.
"But it's a tough squad to get into, Leo Cullen and Louis Deacon had great games in Bourgoin and Martin Castrogiovani and Marcus Ayerza did very well in the front row. So even when we are missing players we have a very strong squad from which to choose."
