Erinle poised for Tigers move
Ayoola Erinle is set to join Leicester Tigers according to The Leicester Mercury.
Wasps centre Ayoola Erinle will be wearing the green jersey of Leicester Tigers next season, according to The Leicester Mercury.
Leicester's local newspaper understands Erinle has signed a contract with the Welford Road club, although no official comment has been released.
Formerly part of the England Saxons, Erinle is a powerhouse centre who would add real thrust to the Tigers midfield.
The Wasps man is currently recovering from a broken leg after making just seven appearances this season, and he may now find he has played the last game of a five-year spell with the London club.
Leicester are also said to be keen on Erinle's club team-mate Paul Sackey, as well as All Black centre Aaron Mauger and France stand-off Frederic Michalak.
The Mercury reports Leicester's head of operations met with Michalak with a view to a summer move, although he still has another year to run on his Toulouse contract.
Mauger's move is dependent on the 26-year-old's ambition to play in the 2011 World Cup, which would mean staying in New Zealand with the Canterbury Crusaders.
Meanwhile, Leo Cullen is expected to be on his way out of Welford Road, with a move to join Shane Jennings at Leinster on the cards.
Cullen is keen to boost his international prospects by playing under the nose of Ireland boss Eddie O'Sullivan, whose squad selections often favour the home players.
