Veteran French lock Fabien Pelous is set to earn his 111th cap against England at Twickenham on Saturday.
Lock will equal Sella's record
England v France, live on Sky Sports 2, Saturday 3.30pm
Veteran French lock Fabien Pelous is set to earn his 111th cap against England at Twickenham on Saturday after being named in the visitors' 22-man squad for the World Cup warm-up.
The Toulouse forward missed the Six Nations Championship through injury but returns to the international scene for the first time since facing New Zealand last November.
Pelous, who first played for his country against Romania in 1995, is set to partner Sale's Sebastien Chabal in the second row. His 111th cap will put him level with the French record held by Philippe Sella.
Fly-half Frederik Michalak - who also missed this year's Six Nations through injury - is also back in the squad.
Michalak is set to start at number 10, replacing David Skrela, who looks set to start on the bench as cover for both the fly-half and centre positions.
Veteran winger Christophe Dominici does not feature, with Aurelien Rougerie, Cedric Heymans and Vincent Clerc competing for the two wide positions.
The French starting XV for the match will be announced on Thursday.
