Short-term deal at the Stoop for Spain hooker
Spanish international Diego Zarzosa has joined Harlequins on a six-week deal as cover for the front row.
Hooker Zarzosa joins Christophe Laurent in arriving at The Twickenham Stoop on a short-term deal after Tani Fuga was called up to the Samoa World Cup squad and summer signing Chris Brooker damaged his shoulder.
The Quins are also missing Gary Botha, who is on World Cup duty with South Africa.
Zarzosa will be a familiar face to Quins fans with the 31-year-old having lined up in opposition while playing for Cetransa El Salvador in the European Challenge Cup.
Zarzosa, who has 37 caps to his name, arrived in England this week and should go straight into the Quins squad for the Premiership curtain-raiser against London Irish.
