Warriors fly-half bag 21 points in morale-boosting win

Sixways was treated to the rare delight of a Worcester win as the Warriors belied their poor domestic form to topple Montauban 41-18. Australian-born fly-half Shane Drahm led the way with 21 points as Worcester ran in a morale-boosting five tries. Chris Pennell, Netani Talei, Craig Gillies, Thinus Delport and Drahm all crossed for tries, while Yannick Caballero, Jean-Emmanuel Cassin and Dennis Cech scored for the visitors. The Warriors had hoped to hand All Black second-rower Greg Rawlinson his debut in the match, only for red tape to delay his appearance. Rawlinson, capped three times by New Zealand, only arrived at Sixways in the week and it was too late to complete his registration.
