Exiles agree new deal to stay at Madejski Stadium
London Irish will continue to play their home matches at the Madejski Stadium until at least 2026 after reaching a new agreement with owners Reading FC.
The Guinness Premiership club, who have been based in Reading since 2000, have signed a new contract which comes into effect immediately.
Since moving to the Berkshire town the Exiles have seen their average attendances more than double, reaching 11,100 last season.
The club also holds the record attendance for a Guinness Premiership match at a club stadium, with 22,648 attending the clash with Wasps in March 2007.
"We are delighted to sign this new long-term agreement with London Irish," said Reading chairman John Madejski.
"We've developed an extremely healthy, mutually beneficial relationship and look forward to continue hosting London Irish fixtures at the Madejski Stadium.
"We benefit greatly from our association with one of the most professional and progressive rugby clubs in Europe and are very pleased to be able to make this announcement."
