France full-back Clement Poitrenaud will miss the remainder of the RBS Six Nations after injuring his ankle on Saturday.
Poitrenaud was injured in the 22nd minute of Toulouse's Top 14 Championship victory over Perpignan and the initial diagnosis was that he had broken a bone in his left ankle.
That was later confirmed to the
Reuters news agency by Toulouse coach Guy Noves
The 25-year-old had been recalled to the France squad to face England on Saturday after being left out for the matches with Scotland and Ireland.
Poitrenaud - capped 32 times by his country - is likely to be replaced by either full-back Anthony Floch or winger Julien Malzieu, who both play for Clermont Auvergne.
