Lock Barend Pieterse tore a chest muscle in the game, and is replaced by David de Villiers, who slots straight into the starting line-up. Otherwise it is the same starting XV to face the rampant Blues, who are fresh off a 55-10 drubbing of the Lions in Johannesburg last weekend - the same Lions who beat the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein a fortnight ago.
