Hasty recall for back rower
France coach Marc Lievremont has called up Julien Bonnaire to replace injured back row forward Imanol Harinordoquy in the squad for next week's Six Nations clash with Italy. Harinordoquy suffered an ankle injury playing against Bourgoin in the Top 14 last week and on Thursday Biarritz pulled him out of Saturday's game against Stade Francais. A scan revealed a slight muscular tear requiring a three-week break and after an assessment by French medical staff, Clermont's Bonnaire got the call-up. The 29-year-old Bonnaire has won 40 caps and played in all three of France's matches in this year's Championship before being dropped following the defeat by England in Paris. France squad:Backs: Dimitri Yachvili, Julien Tomas, Frantois Trinh-Duc, Yannick Jauzion, Yann David, Damien Traille, Vincent Clerc, Julien Malzieu, Aurelien Rougerie, Anthony Floch.
Forwards: Fabien Barcella, Jean-Baptiste Poux, Nicolas Mas, Guillem Guirado, Dimitri Szarzewski, Pascal Pape, Jerome Thion, Lionel Nallet, Ibrahim Diarra, Julien Bonnaire, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Louis Picamoles.
