Harlequins fly-half Adrian Jarvis has agreed a deal to join Guinness Premiership rivals Bristol at the end of the season. The England Saxons number ten has agreed on a two-year deal to play for Bristol and will leave Quins at the end of the season. The 24-year-old has scored more than 500 points during his time at the Stoop but has decided to move on at the end of the current campaign. Jarvis says that the change of city as much as anything influenced his decision to swap London fro Bristol. "Bristol's a very traditional rugby club, a club that's right in the heart of its community," said Jarvis. "That's something that you don't really get in London and something that appealed to me."

Attacking move

Bristol head coach Richard Hill added that Jarvis will help the club move in a more attacking direction in the future. "I've gone on record in recent weeks to say that we are looking to develop our attacking game having focused on defence and set piece since returning to the Guinness Premiership," said Hill. "Adrian is a fly-half who will help us to achieve that as he's not just a goalkicker, he's also a ball-handling fly off who is not afraid to move it around." Jarvis, a former under-21 international, played for the Saxons against Italy in this year's second-tier Six Nations, also featuring in last year's Churchill Cup.
