Acting Leicester captain Ben Kay insists that the Tigers are ready to show their claws as they look to secure a place in the Guinness Premiership play-offs.
It has been a disappointing season for Leicester so far, culminating in Saturday's defeat in the EDF Energy Cup final to the Ospreys.
Now, there last hope of silverware lies in the Premiership - however they can't afford to lose anymore games if they are to make it into the top four.
And although Leicester face a tough ask to beat Bath at the Rec, Kay insists he side will come out fighting.
"This club has always been about how it bounces back from disappointments and perhaps we are at our most dangerous when we are fighting our way out of a corner," he told
Sky Sports News.
Leicester have enjoyed a fruitful run in all competitions over the last few season, including their double-winning success last year.
However Kay knows the club need to pull together if they are to ensure this season doesn't end up trophy-less.
Fight
"It is what the fans expect, it is what the whole club expects but we don't have a God-given right to silverware," he said.
"We have got to go out there and fight for it like any other team and that is what we will do."
Kay, who has been handed the captaincy of the Tigers side after coach Marcelo Loffreda made 14 changes from the side beaten by the Ospreys, admits that the chase for the play-offs is good for the game.
He added: "I don't think there has ever been a league as close as this for English rugby.
"It just goes to show the quality throughout all the teams in the Premiership this year.
"That is good for the fans and the game but not so much for a team that wants to be at the top."
