Super Samoan extends Stoop stay

Harlequins have secured the services of scrum-half Steve So'oialo until at least 2010 after the Samoan agreed a new two-year contract with the Guinness Premiership club. The 30-year-old No.9 has become the 14th squad member to pledge his future to the club in recent weeks, a measure of the team spirit and success the London-based side are enjoying at present. Director of rugby Dean Richards expressed his delight at tying the Samoa international to the club for at least two more seasons.

Important

"It is great to see so many of the players wanting to be a part of Quins over the next few years," said Richards "Steve has been an important part of this team since he joined us four years ago. "I am delighted that he wants to remain at Harlequins."
