Former All Black set to move to Japan
Crusaders utility back Caleb Ralph has admitted he is "excited" about moving to Japanese side Sanix.
The former All Black, who can play on the wing or in the centres, has agreed a two-year deal to move to Japan - with Ralph following fellow Crusaders veteran Reuben Thorne, who has signed for the Yamaha club.
And the 30-year-old Ralph admitted: "I have been fortunate to play the game at all levels for a very long time, and be part of winning teams along the way.
"It is with great sadness that I leave a country that has been good to me but at the same time I am excited about the new challenge in Japan."
Neil Sorensen, the NZRU's general manager of professional rugby, praised Ralph's career which has seen him represent the Chiefs and the Blues.
"Caleb has had a long and distinguished career in New Zealand and has made a significant contribution to the game from age grades through to the All Blacks," Sorensen said.
