Winger leaves the Reds to sign two-year deal
Western Force have reinforced their attacking options by signing Reds winger Caleb Brown on a two-year deal.
Brown, who has 11 Super Rugby caps to his name, made his debut against the Crusaders in 2006 and went on to play ten games in his rookie season before being sidelined by injury.
The 21-year-old's impressive start in Super Rugby saw him earn selection in Australia's U21 team for the 2006 Junior World Championships in France. But a serious hamstring injury kept him off the park in 2007.
He returned to play the final game of the 2008 campaign against the Waratahs before clinching a berth in the Australian Sevens team for the London and Scotland tournaments in May.
"It's an exciting time for me in rugby and a new phase in my life," Brown told
AAP.
"The injuries are all sorted - that's a blessing - and as far as I'm concerned my best rugby is ahead of me.
"I'm still young and I feel that I've got a lot of developing to do as a rugby player and I'll have a great opportunity to achieve that under (coach) John Mitchell and the coaching staff at the Western Force."
