Centre looking for better second half performance

Wasps centre Riki Flutey is looking for England to put together a complete performance when they take on Scotland at Twickenham this weekend. Flutey scored two tries as England produced their best performance of the Six Nations with a 34-10 victory over France on Sunday. However, they lost the second half 10-5 after dominating the first period with some dashing attacking play, and Flutey believes the team is capable of improving considerably against the Scots. "We take a lot of confidence out of the performance," he said. "It was obvious guys were beginning to understand their roles and responsibilities in attack. The set-piece moves went really well. "It was nice scoring in the first few minutes and having the crowd right behind us from the word go. That was fantastic. Just awesome. "But now we have to look at the second half and see how we can put together an 80-minute performance. "We were confident at half-time and we talked about going back out there and doing the same. But we turned the ball over too often." England showed no sign of the indiscipline that had seen them rack up 10 yellow cards in four matches, and Flutey added that having everyone on the pitch made life a lot easier. "Keeping 15 players on the field was huge for us," he added. "Before this game we hadn't conceded any tries with 15 players on the field so we always had confidence in our defence."
