Bristol Rugby have agreed to terminate the contract of Scottish scrum half Graeme Beveridge.

Scot seeks first-team action elsewhere

Bristol Rugby have agreed to terminate the contract of Scottish scrum half Graeme Beveridge. Scottish international Beveridge joined Bristol from Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2007. The 33-year-old has gone on to make a total of 23 appearances for the club, scoring one try in his time at the Memorial Stadium. There has been plenty of competition for the number nine shirt at Bristol this term with Shaun Perry, Haydn Thomas and Sam Alford all vying for first-team action along with Beveridge. As a result, the Scot reached agreement with the club to end his contract early in order to allow him to leave the club as a free agent with a view to pursuing his career elsewhere.
