Sale Sharks have completed the signing of Fijian star Sisa Koyamaibole on a two-year contract.
The 28-year-old joins from French Top 14 outfit Toulon and has also previously had a stint in Italy with Parma.
The imposing back-rower has won 38 caps for his country and competed in two World Cups.
He is also a key member of his country's sevens squad and Sale rugby director Kingsley Jones is confident he will prove a big success in the Guinness Premiership.
"Sisa is a gifted athlete who, at 6ft 4ins is very mobile around the field. He has excellent discipline and I am sure he will become a favourite with the Sale Sharks supporters," Jones stated.
Sale's CEO James Jennings added: " Sisa is a very talented and powerful rugby player. I am sure that he has the potential to become one of the leading players in the Guinness Premiership and that he will have a huge impact at Sale Sharks."
Koyamaibole will help fill the void left by the departures of Sebastien Chabal and club captain Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe amongst others and joins fellow new signings Mahonri Schwalger, Marika Vakacegu and Gavin Kerr at Edgeley Park.
