Mujati has delivered solid performances in his first season of Test rugby, and at just 25, he has a big future ahead of him.
The Zimbabwean qualified as a South African citizen during the 2008 Super 14,and Bok coach Peter de Villiers selected him at his first opportunity. Mujati emerged as force in 2007 for the Lions where, despite his inexperience, he became first-choice tighhead at the Johannesburg franchise and never took a step back the entire year. The Stormers swooped after a loophole in his work permit became apparent, and Mujati proved to be the acquisition of the season as he solved the Cape side's vexing number three conundrum. He also showed his versatility by helping out at loosehead when injury necessitated the shift, a great attribute for any prop. Mujati is a powerful scrummager, strong ball carrier and is efficient of defence and line-out lifting.
