Touring squad finalised
Former England captain Martin Corry has been named squad captain for the Barbarians' two-match summer tour.
The Barbarians play England at Twickenham on 30 May before flying to Sydney where they will play Australia on 6 June.
"We have a particularly strong squad this year, full of test quality players with vast experience world wide," said Barbarians' president Micky Steele-Bodger said,
"Martin was a popular choice by our committee to be their captain. He is held in high regard by everyone who has played with and against him and as he is retiring after our tour we are delighted to think that his final matches will be in a Barbarian jersey."
"It is a huge honour for me to be invited to be captain of the Barbarians," said Corry, who first played for the Barbarians on their summer tour to South America in 1998.
"They are a club that holds dear everything which is right about rugby. They never fail to promote the proper values and traditional qualities of our sport."
Leicester back row Corry, who was capped 64 times by England and led the side on 17 occasions, will lead out the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday week accompanied by his two children, three-year-old Edward and his sister Eve (5), as match mascots.
Emotional
"For me this is going to be a very emotional family occasion," he added.
"It will be my last game in England and to finish at Twickenham with my two children as mascots is just perfect."
Meanwhile, the summer tour squad has been finalised with the addition of the 77-times capped Wallabies' flanker Phil Waugh and Fijian wing prodigy Ratu Nasiganiyavi, a 19 stones-plus member of the Waratahs' Super 14 squad.
Clarke Dermody replaces the injured Iestyn Thomas who has withdrawn because of injury, while Peter Grant and Justin Harrison are unavailable.
