Scotland forward facing six weeks on the sidelines
Stade Francais have suffered an injury blow on the eve of the new Top 14 season after Simon Taylor broke his foot.
The Scotland forward is now facing six weeks on the sidelines after suffering the injury in training.
Taylor was expected to be in the side to face Toulon on Friday, however it could be the end of September before he returns to action.
"He was about to kick the ball but kicked someone else with his foot," Stade team manager Ewen McKenzie said.
"It's a shame because he's been going well (in pre-season)."
