The All Blacks have retained Adam Thomson, Tom Donnelly and Colin Slade in the 30-man squad for their Tri-Nations matches against South Africa and Australia.
The trio teamed up with the New Zealand squad on Wednesday for a one-day training camp in Christchurch.
And they will now stay with the squad to provide cover for the final two matches of the series.
The All Blacks take on South Africa at Waikato Stadium on Saturday September 12, before wrapping up the tournament against Australia in Wellington seven days later.
The squad will team up on Sunday to prepare for the match, although Neemia Tialata will be missing as he has been cleared to play for Wellington this weekend and on Thursday.
