Centre makes switch from Northampton

Nils Mordt has joined Harlequins from Guinness Premiership rivals Northampton. Quins' move for Mordt follows an injury to Jordan Turner-Hall, who could be sidelined for up to four months with a shoulder problem. Mordt, a former London Irish player, has represented England Saxons and also gained representative honours with the England sevens team. Quins backs coach Colin Osborne said: "Nils is a highly experienced and skilful performer who has played at the highest level. "We are delighted that we have had the opportunity to sign him, particularly in the light of the recent injury to Jordan Turner-Hall."
