Samoa prop Lealamanua agrees permanent deal
Guinness Premiership leaders Saracens have bolstered their front-row options with the signing of Samoan international prop Kas Lealamanua.
The 32-year-old former Biarritz and Dax front-rower has agreed a permanent deal at Vicarage Road after impressing in the friendlies against Agen, London Welsh and Nottingham.
And Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter believes the arrival of the experienced Lealamanua, a member of Samoa's 2007 World Cup squad, will be crucial to his side's hopes this season.
"Kas is a very experienced prop having played at the top level of the game for many years," he said.
"He has a strong work ethic and will be a valuable asset. Since the inception of the 23rd man in matchday squads, we have been looking to strengthen the squad with another prop and the signing of Kas adds depth and strength to that area of the team."
