Light Blues lock looks to sign off in style
Former Australia lock Dan Vickerman will captain Cambridge University in this year's Varsity match against Oxford.
Cambridge will look to avenge last year's 33-29 defeat on December 10 at Twickenham to build on their current 60-53 advantage over the Dark Blues in the series.
The 30-year-old lock will join Northampton Saints on a one-year
contract after the match to combine his land economy studies with a renewed professional career at Franklins Gardens.
Former Leicester fly-half Ross Broadfoot and Ulster pro Niall Conlon will join the 55 times capped Wallaby in the squad.
Vickerman said: "It's been a good, new season for us. We've embarked on a journey and we've had some good games in preparation.
"All in all we've come together well. We're enjoying it and we're moving in the right direction."
Meanwhile, Oxford hooker Dan Rosen will captain the dark blues side in his third varsity appearance in his eighth year at the university.
Tim Catling will start on the wing after his hat-trick in last years match was the first in 74 years.
