Champions Leinster kick off quarter-final weekend

Northampton's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Munster will take place on Saturday, April 10 with a 5.30pm kick-off. The Thomond Park clash is a repeat of the teams' Pool One encounter in Limerick just four days ago, which Saints lost 12-9. Heineken Cup holders Leinster will get the quarter-final weekend under way the previous evening in Dublin against Clermont Auvergne (8pm). Ospreys face Biarritz on the Saturday, with the French side taking the game into northern Spain to the 32,000-capacity Estadio Anoeta in San Sebastian. The quarter-final programme is concluded on Sunday, April 11 with the all-French clash between Toulouse and Stade Francais. All four Heineken Cup quarter-finals will be televised live on Sky Sports. Details of the second-tier Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finals have also been announced, which features an all-English encounter between Wasps and Gloucester. That tie will take place on Sunday, April 11, followed the same afternoon by Newcastle's appointment with Cardiff Blues. The previous day sees Connacht hosting Bourgoin, with Jonny Wilkinson's Toulon facing a Saturday night home tie against the Scarlets.
