London Irish have completed the signing of promising scrum-half Darren Allinson on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old joins from Magners League outfit Cardiff Blues and will link-up with his new team-mates at the start of next season.
Allinson was educated at the famous West Wales School at Gwendraetha and successfully came through the Scarlets Academy..
He has represented Wales at U16 and 18 levels as well as featuring for his country in the U19 World Cup in Dubai in March 2006.
"We are delighted that Darren will be joining us next season," Irish head coach Toby Booth told the
club's website.
"He is an exciting young talent, his style suits London Irish and he will be a great addition. His signing also fits well with our strategy of quality not quantity and maintaining strength in depth."
Allinson said: "Joining London Irish is an exciting opportunity for me. I have carefully watched the team's progress over the last couple of seasons and I particularly like the positive attitude adopted by the coaches and players alike. I can't wait to get started!"
