Jordan Crane has set his sights on European glory after Leicester secured back-to-back Guinness Premiership titles.
The Tigers were dramatic late winners over Saracens at Twickenham on Saturday to secure top honours domestically.
However, their Heineken Cup charge had previously faltered as they were dumped out of Pool Three and Leicester have now not won Europe's premier competition since 2002.
And although some key players will be departing from Welford Road, Crane is hoping his side can rebuild and lift more than one trophy next season.
"Lewis Moody is a big loss, Ben Kay is retiring, and Sam Vesty, Brett Deacon and Mefin Davies are leaving," he told the
Leicester Mercury.
"They are good players, but we have to build. The character in this Leicester side is great and, if we don't do the same next season, it will be a disappointing season.
"When we went out of Europe, it was a big disappointment to the guys.
"It's a massive thing for us and we need to push on next season and compete for two trophies, even three, to be successful. It's a hard place to be."
