Nigel Askham puts the questions to Sky Bet's Chris Smart on the Six Nations climax and Super 15 latest.
Q: Wales are incredibly short (1/150) to win the Six Nations. What are the chances of the French acting as party poopers at the Millennium? You can never say never, but with France's hectic recent schedule, and multitude of changes I would think it's Wales' Grand Slam to lose. Q: I presume the money has continued to pile in for Wales as they bid to lift their first title since 2008? We've actually seen money for France at 2/1 to spoil the Welsh party here. It would be a good result for us if they could, as a Welsh Grand Slam is by far our worst outcome in this championship. They look a short enough price to dissuade a lot of punters from getting involved at this stage. Q: After their impressive win in Paris is there money for England to end their season on a high against Ireland at Twickenham? England are very popular, yes. We remain unconvinced about England, and would rather be with the Irish in that game. I must say that I have seen a lot of improvement in England throughout this competition, and I've got them wrong as much as I've got them right in this Championship, so this is the decider! Q: It would take a defeat for Wales and a big swing in points difference, currently 38 points in, Wales' favour, for England to snatch the title at the death. Have you have many takers for that eventuality? Not really. With England v Ireland taking place after Wales v France will have finished I would see people only possibly being interested if France saw off Wales by 10 or more points. Q: The Scots have had their moments in the tournament but they again face a wooden spoon battle against Italy in Rome. What's the book looking like for this one? I'm not really sure how Scotland have ended up in this situation. I would hope that they are rewarded for their attempts to play such a brave and attacking style. I'm a bit torn on this game, but my heart says Scotland (8/13) will be too good. Q: After three rounds of the Super 15 are there any trends developing and where is most interest as we look ahead to this weekend's clashes? The New Zealand teams all look so strong, that it's going to be hard for one of them to qualify as top seeds with having to play each other so much. The Reds (9/2 for the title) have a big game in Durban this week against The Sharks and a win there could put them in pole position to defend their Super 15 title. Q: Have you any specials for us as the curtain comes down on the tournament? Yes, we are offering 5/1 that Italy, Wales and England all pull off victories on the closing weekend. We also have some point scoring specials including George North and Tommy Bowe both to score tries at 9/1 or Owen Farrell to score a try, conversion, penalty and a drop goal at 50/1. Q: Where is the Smart money going this weekend? I'll be backing Ireland (11/8) to follow Wales example and get the away win at Twickenham. *All prices subject to fluctuation
