Scotland wing Tommy Seymour tired of 'valiant losers' tag in the Six Nations

Scotland wing Tommy Seymour insists he and his team-mates must start turning their progress into championship points after opening the Six Nations with two defeats.
Scotland play Italy in Edinburgh on Saturday, and defeat could mean the Scots ending their campaign in bottom spot for the fourth time in the last 11 years.
Scotland have opened with a defeat in France followed by a home loss to Wales.
Seymour said: "We have to go out and perform the way people expect of us. It's no good being valiant losers. We're not interested in that. We're not interested in coming up close.
"We want wins, it's as simple as that. This is professional sport and it's about going out to win fixtures.
"We're putting a lot of effort into being a group of players that doesn't need management to give us a kick after a bad performance. We have to do that ourselves.
"Although there has been a lot of positives from the last two weeks, the guys have been hard on themselves and making sure we don't fall back into habits where we accept being valiant losers."
Glasgow's Seymour has returned to Vern Cotter's side after a hip injury forced him out of the 15-8 loss to France on February 7.
