      In depth

SWEET PROMISE has to give weight to some very interesting types but she really impressed with the manner of her success on debut at Doncaster and looks one to stay with. Expressionism, a daughter of Galileo, has presumably had her issues to be making a belated debut now but she hails from leading connections and is beautifully-bred. A market check is essential. Alemagna showed plenty of promise here last term on her sole outing but hasn't been since, whilst Ojooba has shown promise on both starts. The main danger though could well be Hazaranda. The Stoute filly produced a solid first run and stable inmates frequently improve notably for debut runs.

I Think So (IRE) 66-1 (9-7) Held up in last pair, outpaced over 3f out, never near leaders, weakened final 2f, last of 8, 27 1/2l behind Promissory (8-9) at Doncaster 1m 4f stks (4) gf in Jul.

Sweet Promise 25-1 (8-12) Held up towards rear, smooth headway on inside tracking leaders 3f out, went 2nd and switched right 2f out, led going well approaching final furlong, soon clear, won at Doncaster 1m 2f fll stks (5) gd in Jun beating The Very Moon (8-12) by 3 1/2l, 11 ran.

Break The Rules 33-1 (8-12) Slowly away soon recovered and close up in 4th, headway on outer 3f out, chased leader 2f out, ridden to challenge inside final furlong, driven to lead final strides, won at Lingfield 1m 4f fll stks (6) pol in Mar beating Air Force Amy (8-12) by hd, 4 ran.

Alemagna 12-1 (9-0) Towards rear, wide and headway over 2f out, pushed along and stayed on towards finish, 4th of 12, 3l behind Grace And Danger (9-0) at Nottingham 1m mdn fll stks (5) sft in Oct.

Expressionism (IRE) Galileo filly out of Lady Springbank.

Hazaranda 15-2 (8-12) Tracked leader, effort over 2f out, weakened over 1f out, 5th of 14, 4l behind Motivate Me (8-12) at Salisbury 1m 2f fll stks (5) gf in May.

Midnights' Gift Midnight Legend filly out of Giving.

Ojooba 11-4 (8-11) Led 2f, tracked leaders, ridden and outpaced entering final 2f, rallied towards finish, 5th of 11, 5 1/4l behind Fabulist (8-11) at Newmarket 1m fll stks (4) gd in Jun.
