Wales will make a swift return to Japan as part of their 2020 summer tour, the Welsh Rugby Union has announced.

Wales will face the Brave Blossoms at the end of June at a venue still to be announced, before going on to play two Test matches in New Zealand.

The Welsh spent eight weeks in Japan last year where they reached the semi-finals of the World Cup.

After playing the Japanese on June 27, Wales will take on the All Blacks in Auckland on July 4 and Wellington on July 11.

Wales head coach Wayne Pivac said: "Going back to Japan for Wales will be a really big fixture on the back of a really successful RWC for Japan as hosts both on and off the field.

"The squad and WRU made a huge impression on the country in the lead up to and during the RWC and attracted a lot of local support so it will be great to take the squad back to Japan for the first summer Test."
