Ex-Ulster fly-half Paddy Jackson has signed a two-year contract with Perpignan.
Jackson, 26, and fellow Ireland international Stuart Olding were found not guilty of rape in March at the end of an eight-week trial in Belfast, but had their contracts terminated by Ulster following an internal review by the Irish province and the Irish Rugby Football Union.
Olding has since joined relegated Top 14 side Brive and his former team-mate has moved to one of the sides replacing them in French rugby's top tier next season.
"Paddy Jackson, in the tradition of Irish 10s, knows how to bring his individual qualities to benefit the collective," said Perpignan sporting director Christian Lanta.
"A proven kicker and talented playmaker, Paddy can bring his international experience to the team."
Perpignan won promotion to the Top 14 this season after four years in the second tier.
They finished top of the Pro D2 with 20 wins from their 30 regular season fixtures, and beat Grenoble 38-13 in the PRO D2 final.
