Former Ulster utility back Stuart Olding has signed a two-year contract with relegated Top 14 club Brive.
Olding and fellow Ireland international Paddy Jackson were found not guilty of rape in March at the end of an eight-week trial in Belfast.
The pair had their contracts terminated by Ulster following an internal review by the Irish province and the Irish Rugby Football Union.
Both players were understood to be close to signing for Sale Sharks earlier this month but Olding has found a route back into professional rugby with Brive, where former Ireland and Ulster lock Jeremy Davidson is head coach.
The 1997 Heineken Cup winners finished bottom of this season's Top 14 after losing 18 of their 26 league games.
Olding has won four caps for Ireland, scoring one try. His last appearance came in the third Test defeat to South Africa in Port Elizabeth in June 2016.
