What a week it was for Super Rugby. The Sunwolves recorded their first-ever win in the competition when they overcame a half-time deficit to run out 36-28 winners over the Jaguares in Tokyo. But despite the loss, it was in fact the Argentine side who scored one of the tries of the week through Emiliano Boffelli.

Beauden Barrett was another who impressed. In a game that was billed as a showdown between the two front-runners for the vacant No 10 jersey for the All Blacks, the Hurricanes' Barrett went head-to-head with Aaron Cruden of the Chiefs in a classic clash in Wellington.

The game was edged by the Chiefs, helped by a try that was started by a deft pass from Cruden, while Barrett crossed the whitewash himself after supporting impressively on the back of his own offload.

Israel Dagg continued his try-scoring return to Super Rugby, though the man to credit with his five-pointer was Nemani Nadolo, whose offload in the tackle was outrageous.
