Worcester Warriors scrum-half Jonny Arr has committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension.

The 27-year-old, who came through the junior ranks at Worcester, has made 173 appearances for the Aviva Premiership side since turning pro in 2007.

He was named player of the season when Warriors won promotion in 2010/11 and again played a key role as they secured a return to the top flight last season.

"Having been involved with Worcester Rugby since I was 10, I have witnessed a lot of change at the club," said Arr. "But, under the current regime, we are in the perfect place to become the best we have ever been.

"It's clear to see the development around the club over the past two campaigns and I want to continue to be a part of developing Warriors into a successful top-tier side. Both promotions were special nights during my time at Warriors.

"Hopefully now we'll be able to push on and I'll be able to experience plenty more memorable moments throughout this next chapter of my career."
