Wasps have signed Newcastle Falcons prop Ben Harris on a short-term loan deal.
Harris, who has represented the England Counties, joined Newcastle in the summer of 2015 from Yorkshire Carnegie but had not played this season as he recovered from a knee operation.
Wasps' director of rugby Dai Young moved for the 27-year-old loosehead after Simon McIntyre and Alex Lundberg suffered ankle injuries.
"We've been left a little short with the injuries to Simon McIntyre and Alex Lundberg so we're pleased to be able to add someone of Ben's ability to the squad," he said.
"He will add to our loosehead options and will complement the group of front row players at the club heading into a very busy period as we approach Christmas."Huddersfield-born prop Harris appeared 65 times for Yorkshire Carnegie over a three-year spell, before signing a two-year deal at Newcastle.
Wasps have won six of their seven Aviva Premiership games this season and sit second in the table, one point behind leaders and defending champions Saracens.
