Worcester lock Will Spencer will join Leicester Tigers at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old, who is a product of the Bath academy and helped London Welsh to Premiership promotion during a loan spell, has made 27 appearances for the Warriors since moving to Sixways in 2016.

His form for Worcester last season saw him called up to an England training camp and he played against the Barbarians last May.

"Will has been in good form and developing well as a player," said Leicester head coach Matt O'Connor.

"He is a strong and physical presence in the forward pack and we believe he can develop even further here in the future. We look forward to working with him."

Worcester director of rugby Alan Solomons said Spencer has made "an invaluable contribution" to the club and will continue to play a key role until the end of the season.

"We are sorry to lose a player of his calibre but wish him all the best in his next venture," said Solomons.

Spencer added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sixways and will always be grateful for the opportunity the club gave me.

"I will continue to represent Warriors with pride this season and give my all to ensure the club have a successful season."
