Cian Healy will learn on Wednesday if his appeal against a two-week suspension is successful.
The Leinster prop was handed the ban following a clash with Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado during the his side's 24-9 Champions Cup defeat in France on December 13.
An initial charge of striking with the knee was not proven, and was amended by Welsh judicial officer Roger Morris to "dangerous charging or obstructing or grabbing of an opponent without the ball, including shouldering", in breach of Law 10.4 (f) and (k) of World Rugby's regulations.
The Irish forward decided to challenge the amended sanction and his case will now be heard by an independent appeals committee made up of chairman professor Lorne Crerar, Rod McKenzie and Roddy Dunlop QC.
Healy, capped 56 times by Ireland, was cleared to play in last Saturday's return fixture in Dublin - won 20-16 by Toulon - as he awaited the outcome of his appeal.
