In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Zero Tolerance, Border Castle and St Pancras and the vote goes to Zero Tolerance. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and ran as if returning to form when second behind Dunaskin last time. He again has his optimum conditions and he will be hard to beat. Border Castle rates the main danger as he won well when last seen when defeating Show No Fear. However that was 305 days ago and he may just need the run so for that reason he is opposed. St Pancras is another that could go well as he was a fair second last time out but on the only occasion he has been tried over a trip this far before he was very disappointing so he can not be backed with any confidence. Solo Flight is another that could go well but his best form is on fast ground. Of the remainder Torinmoor is another with place prospects as he is from a yard in top form and he will be suited by this return to the 10 furlong trip having not stayed the 12 furlongs at York last time. He is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but in a tight affair for the winner we return to Zero Tolerance.
