Namibian back-row arrives at Vicarage Road

Saracens have bolstered their back-row options with the signing of Namibian international Jacques Burger. The 26-year-old has joined the Guinness Premiership leaders from Super 14 outfit the Bulls, and has already begun training with the Vicarage Road side ahead of Saturday's clash with Leicester. Burger has won 25 caps for Namibia and impressed during the 2007 World Cup in France. Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter said: "Jacques is not only a quality player but he's also a quality individual and we're delighted he has joined us. "I've worked with him before and he has the ability to play across the back row where his tenacity and work rate will add to the strength and depth of the squad."
