New Zealand wing Frank Halai will join Wasps from Auckland's Blues next season.
Tonga-born Halai scored a try in his solitary appearance for the All Blacks in the win over Japan in November 2013.
The 26-year-old made his Super Rugby debut for the Blues earlier that year, against the Hurricanes, and ended the season as the competition’s leading try scorer.
Halai, who previously played for Waikato in the ITM Cup, has also represented New Zealand Sevens, scoring 30 tries in 33 games. He has scored 13 tries in his 31 Blues appearances.
Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: “We are delighted to have signed Frank Halai from the Auckland Blues. Frank is incredibly strong and powerful, with great pace and he has already shown his potential through playing for the All Blacks.
“Being able to attract players of Frank’s calibre, in their prime, is a reflection of the upward curve the club is following.
"We have made no secret of our ambition to become a top four side and recruiting players of his ability will help us take another step towards achieving that goal in the coming seasons.”
