Rugby union quiz of the year: Test your knowledge of 2016

England's captain Dylan Hartley (C) lifts the Cook Cup trophy

England went unbeaten under Eddie Jones, while Saracens recorded a landmark European and domestic double, but how much do you remember from 2016?

Jones took over after England's disastrous 2015 World Cup campaign, and has guided his side to a Six Nations Grand Slam and a series whitewash of Australia. Saracens, meanwhile, swept all before them in Europe before beating Exeter in the Premiership final at Twickenham in May.

Elsewhere, Ireland inflicted defeat on New Zealand in Chicago, after the world champions strung together a record-breaking series of consecutive victories. South Africa, however, suffered their worst year in recent memory, losing to Italy during an autumn international campaign in which they failed to register a win.
