Wasps' James Haskell admits he feared he may never play again

England flanker James Haskell thought he might never play again after six months on the injury sidelines.
The Wasps star injured his toe in Australia last summer during England's triumphant tour.
His comeback for Wasps two weeks ago lasted just 35 seconds when he was knocked out whilst making a tackle on Leicester's Freddie Burns.
But the 31-year-old played an hour in Sunday's Champions Cup victory over Zebre in Italy which booked Wasps' place in the quarter-finals.
"It's been the hardest six months I've ever had as a professional rugby player," Haskell told the Daily Mail.
"It was great to get out there because I wasn't sure if I would ever play again. It was a very tricky operation and a very tricky area to repair.
"When you're turning up to training and your foot's sore every day, you start having doubts.
"I'm not here to battle through, I'm here to play well and if you can't do that, you've got to find something else to do. It was a lot of three steps forward, two steps back."
