Nehe-Milner Skudder dazzles on his return to Super Rugby. Lions beware!

There were some big New Zealand derbies in round 2 of Super Rugby and a chance for players to stake their claim for the All Black shirt.

The All Blacks may have won back-to-back World Cups but how many have played against the British and Irish Lions?

Warren Gatland's Lions will be heading their way in June and the likes of the Chiefs, Hurricanes and Crusaders showed just why this is going to a formidable tour.

Who should start for the British and Lions in their first Test against New Zealand?

Former All Blacks captain Sean Fitzpatrick was impressed by the likes of Brodie Retallick, Aaron Smith and Seta Tamanivalu but it was Nehe Milner-Skudder who was his pick of the bunch after round 2.

"In 2015 he set the World Cup on fire," Fitzpatrick told Sky Sports.

"He got injured in round one of Super Rugby last year, but he came back and scored three sensational tries.

"He has got real competition in terms of a place in the All Blacks - Israel Dagg is holding his place at the moment and Julian Savea seems to be back to a bit of form but Milner-Skudder is just something special.

"His footwork and finishing skills are second to none. He has had a taste of All Black rugby and will want a chance to play against the British and Irish Lions - he will make sure he can do everything he can to make sure his name is in lights for Steve Hansen to pick him.

"He is going to be a real handful."
